While I’m still not a huge fan of Melissa Gilbert, I did enjoy watching the movie again. It is in no way better than the book. But it’s a nice visualization for the book. 
I’m wondering if anyone else has a hard time seeing anyone else in some of these roles after you get a picture of the character in your head. It drives me crazy, but it happens with all books turned to movies.
