Jonesing for that Summer Nora read? I know some are as I have had several emails asking if I know why there isn’t one. Well, publishing schedules shift. Nora’s putting out a ton of books each year between the J.D. Robb stuff and her tried and true goodies, the romances. So if you are, well…you are out of luck! After Chasing Fire, there isn’t another ‘new’ Nora released until November. That will be a Berkley Trade paperback trilogy released under The Inn BoonsBoro trilogy. Book One is released November 1st. You can pre-order it from Amazon now (get the best rate over time if you do!). It sounds pretty intriguing.

Book Description:
The historic hotel in BoonsBoro, Maryland, has endured war and peace, changing hands, even rumored hauntings. Now it’s getting a major facelift from the Montgomery brothers and their eccentric mother. As the architect of the family, Beckett’s social life consists mostly of talking shop over pizza and beer. But there’s another project he’s got his eye on: the girl he’s been waiting to kiss since he was fifteen…
I truly am excited about Nora’s new book coming out. I love firefighters…they’re sexy (almost always) and there is something about a hero who puts his life in danger to save you. So I’m especially psyched about this book.
Pre-ordering on Amazon is a lot cheaper than waiting and buying it in stores even. Last I looked it was only $15!
Here’s the description:
There’s little as thrilling as firefighting-at least to Rowan Tripp. The Missoula smoke jumpers are in Rowan’s blood: her father is a legend. She’s been fighting fires since her eighteenth birthday. At this point, returning to the wilds of Montana for the season feels like coming home-even with reminders of the partner she lost last season still lingering.
Fortunately, this year’s rookie crop is one of the strongest ever-and Gulliver Curry’s one of the best. He’s also a walking contradiction, a hotshot firefighter with a big vocabulary and a winter job at a kids’ arcade.
Everything is thrown off balance when a dark presence lashes out against Rowan, looking to blame someone for last year’s tragedy. Rowan knows she can’t complicate things with Gull-any distractions in the air or on the ground could mean the end-but if she doesn’t find someone she can lean on, she may not make it through the summer. . . .
Then there’s that cover. It inspires your imagination doesn’t it? Jumping out of airplanes into the heat. Hm…
As with all pre-posted release dates, these are all tentative and subject to change. You’ll just have to keep checking back! I’ve added a JDR for the J.D. Robb books that will be coming out (as if you wouldn’t have known that’s what they were with the ‘in death’ part of the title, but just in case…).

Treachery in Death **NEW** (JDR)
Detective Eve Dallas and her partner, Peabody, are following up on a senseless crime-an elderly grocery owner killed by three stoned punks for nothing more than kicks and snacks. This is Peabody’s first case as primary detective-good thing she learned from the master.
But Peabody soon stumbles upon a trickier situation. After a hard workout, she’s all alone in the locker room when the gym door clatters open; and-while hiding inside a shower stall trying not to make a sound-she overhears two fellow officers, Garnet and Oberman, arguing. It doesn’t take long to realize they’re both crooked-guilty not just of corruption but of murder. Now Peabody, Eve, and Eve’s husband, Roarke, are trying to get the hard evidence they need to bring the dirty cops down-knowing all the while that the two are willing to kill to keep their secret.
