Watched Northern Lights again…

Though I’m not totally sure why I did it.  Call me a glutton for punishment.  I just can’t help watching a Nora book-into-movie.  The thing is I thought LeAnne Rimes stunk.  She is pretty enough, but the acting wasn’t that great.  And frankly, I kept waiting for her to break into song.  But the hero is cute and I like the story well enough.  Too bad someone besides these B rated stars won’t agree to take less money and REALLY bring the characters to life.  Oh, well.  Here’s to hoping the next ones are better…and that there will be more!

Savor the Moment – Laurel’s Story from The Bride Quartet is out at the end of April! And news on Parker’s story!

The first book, Vision in White gave Mac’s story. The second book, Bed of RoseBed of Rosess (just released in late October) is Emma’s tale. And Savor the Moment is Laurel’s savory journey into love that is out in just over two months (April 2010).

That will leave Parker’s story.  I finally know what they will call it!  Happy Ever After  and it will be out November 2010.  I’m speculating here, but I’m fairly sure she’ll end up with the mechanic.  What do you think?

And have you to tell me what you think of the cover.  The one on the site for so long was an international one.

Don’t forget if you order from Amazon you can get the price guarantee.  I preordered last November and the lowest price has been less an $9 for it.  It’s worth the money so I’m excited to get it much cheaper!

High Noon by Nora Roberts
Nora’s High Noon is definitely going under the heading of one of my favorites. While the made for tv movie wasn’t really all that I’d hoped, the book itself was fabulous! If you haven’t read it, I won’t spoil it for you but I’d recommend you do. It’s exciting, chilling and definitely romantic. There seems to be something about the way the men Nora write being soft and unyielding at the same time. It’s amazing how she strikes the right balance between Beta and Alpha men.
